that are Humanely Harvested while Regenerating the Landscape and Restoring Habitat for Native Virginia species.

Pastured Raised Chicken

Our chickens are raised on pasture in portable shelters with

• Plenty of Space to Stretch & Move and just do "chicken things" like scratch in the dirt, preen, or chase and capture bugs
• Access to Fresh Air & Water, Sunshine or Shade
• Are moved to Fresh Grass Every Day
• Given a supplemental non-GMO feed with
  • NO animal by-products
  • NO antibiotics or hormones

Pasture Raised Eggs

• Our hens produce delicious, nutrient dense eggs in a variety of sizes and shell colors.
• The yolks are dark yellow to orange, thick and creamy and make lovely breakfasts (or dinners!) and baked goods.
• Mosby's Lovely Layers hang out in the Red Hen District, a mobile enclosure consisting of two (2) large and airy coops surrounded by electric poultry net giving them plenty of safe space that allows:
  • Hens to do "chicken things" without fear of predators.
  • Us to move the hens to fresh pasture,
• In addition to all the green plants and bugs (and the occasional snake) they can find, the hens enjoy non-GMO feed, scratch, and high protein snacks
